Wednesday, Aug. 7 predictions: Champions League and Conference League.

by Michael

Wednesday, Aug. 7 predictions: there are matches from the third preliminary round of the Champions League and the Conference League.

The first leg of the third preliminary round of the Champions League closes with the three matches scheduled for tonight. One of them pits Slavia Prague and Union Saint-Gilloise against each other, a double challenge that promises great balance.

The Czechs have kept last year’s framework, which allowed them to reach the round of 16 in the Europa League (they were eliminated by AC Milan). Jindrich Trpisovsky is still on the bench, while slinger Chory, taken from Viktoria Plzen, has arrived to complete the attack.

Predictions on the other matches

Lightly favored also Bodo/Glimt first in the standings in Norway – they are 9 points ahead of the second – who will be on the scene at home of the Poles of Jagiellonia, the only ones with full points since Ekstraklasa resumed (3 wins out of 3): there should be no shortage of goals.

Also in the sign of balance is the double-header between Slovan Bratislava and APOEL Nicosia: the Slovaks, however, in addition to being able to take advantage of the field factor, have more minutes in their legs than the Cypriots, having made their official debut almost a month ago.
