Tuesday, April 16 predictions: not only Champions League

by Martin

Tuesday April 16 predictions: the return leg of the Champions League quarterfinals kicks off, other leagues around the world are also on the field.

A week after the spectacle of the first leg of the quarterfinals, it’s straight back to the Champions League with return matches. Barcelona thanks to the 3-2 win in Paris start as favorites for qualification, but twists and turns are always around the corner: goals as in the first leg should not be missed.

Reverse fields, however, change the prediction in Borussia Dortmund-Atletico Madrid: the Germans might be able to avoid defeat, but in the end qualification should go to the Spaniards who have two results out of three at their disposal thanks to the 2-1 first leg.

In Portugal’s Primeira Liga, title-fighting Sporting Lisbon can take three more decisive steps by beating Famaliçao away to restore their lead over Benfica to seven points.
