Sevilla-Copenhagen is a match for Week 5 of the Champions League: live TV, streaming, odds, predictions
SEVILLE – COPENAGHEN | Tuesday 6.45pm
MMore than the possibility of going ahead in the Champions League – in the last match of the round Sevilla will have to face Manchester City on the road – Sampaoli’s team, at home against Copenhagen, will be gambling on the possibility of going ahead in Europe, in the second event. Yes, there is very little chance of the Spaniards going ahead, and the fact that they are level on points with the visitors demonstrates that this season has started badly and could end even worse. Now, it must be said that something new has been seen since the Argentine coach took the bench, but there has not been, and it is evident, the shake-up that everyone expected. Sevilla struggle at the bottom of the table and are unable to continue their results.
To think, however, that the Danes can come away with a positive result from the trip to Andalusia seems exaggerated. There is, however, one fact about Copenhagen’s path that could be overturned in this match: the guests have not yet scored a single goal and have conceded eight. Here, the chance to rejoice then would perhaps be there. Not least because to think of finishing without ever throwing it in the back of the net is not the best.
The Prediction
In a match that might well score a goal for Copenhagen, which would be the Danes’ first in the competition, Sevilla’s victory is almost a foregone conclusion as they would be safe from nasty surprises and would thus gain an arithmetical access to the Europa League.
