Le Mans-PSG prediction: double speed and a foregone conclusion

by Michael

PSG are currently one of the fittest teams in Europe. They’ve shown it, not so much in the league – where they destroyed Brest away, their next opponent in the Champions League play-offs – but especially in the top European competition where they first beat City and then Stuttgart and now, with a bit of luck, could find themselves in the round of 16.

Having said that, PSG will be playing at twice the speed against Le Mans, to stay on the subject of engines, given that the French city is obviously better known for the 24 Hours than for soccer. A third division team that has already gone beyond what is possible. Of course, it’s always a commitment for Luis Enrique’s team, but at the moment, he really can draw from a very deep pool: whoever takes the field shows that he is reliable, ready to have his say. And he does it with extreme ease and calm. Now, obviously there is a big difference between the two teams and it will be a training match for PSG. And since they have already won the championship – ten points ahead – and the Champions League is difficult anyway, every competition is a good opportunity for a team that has no rivals in France to try to win a trophy. So, they are practically certain to go through to the next round.

The prediction

At least three goals in total. At least three PSG goals. Maybe four. An easy win for the Spanish coach’s men with a serious chance for Kvara to score his first goal in his new shirt.
