Bayern Munich-Copenaghen is a match from the fifth day of the Champions League group stage and is played Wednesday at 9 p.m.: tv, predictions.
It’s strange to think that since August, the only ones to impose themselves on Bayern Munich have been the meatheads of Saarbrucken, a small German club playing in the third league. Yes, that’s right, since the German Super Cup the Bavarians have lost only to them in the second round of the national cup, in a match that, in its own way, has already made history.
In the Champions League, however, there was none for anyone. Thomas Tuchel’s battleship was unfazed by the presence in the same group as Manchester United, remaining on full points after four days and already archiving qualification and first place. Four wins out of four, eleven goals scored and six conceded for a team that, as it often happens to it at this stage, left opponents no chance. The goal now is to win them all for the third consecutive season, which would be a real record. Bayern Munich is also back in crushing form in the Bundesliga – it has won them all since October – and only an extraordinary Bayer Leverkusen, first at +2 on Muller and co., is currently preventing them from looking down on everyone.
Copenhagen believes in it
Last Friday it was the usual Kane – there are already 12 league goals for the former Spurs man – who gave Tuchel another three points in the match against Cologne, beaten 1-0 at home.
Bayern, which will now become the “referee” of Champions League Group A: in this round it will be able to count on the “cheering” of Manchester United, which lies in last place in the standings and, in addition to getting the better of Galatasaray in Istanbul, must hope that the Bavarians will honor the commitment with Copenhagen, which like the Turks has one point more than the Red Devils, backs to the wall. The Danes against all odds are still in the running: the resounding comeback three weeks ago against United, beaten 4-3 at Parken, will remain etched in every fan’s memory: by Lerager and Bardghji the goals that in the space of a few minutes overturned ten Hag’s men, now on the brink of the precipice. A huge expenditure of energy, however, that the Danes probably paid dearly for, as in the last two days of the Superligaen they have won only one point between Brondby and Viborg.
The Prediction
Bayern Munich is not accustomed to “gifts”: it has already proven this in the last two seasons, honoring its commitments until the last day. Reason why we assume a fairly clear success on the part of the Bavarians, against a Copenhagen that, as in the first leg (1-2), will do everything to put Tuchel’s squadron in trouble, but without putting up barricades. The total goals could be at least four.
