Liechtenstein-Kazakhstan prediction: first toast

by Sabrina

Second day of World Cup qualifiers for these two teams, who both started with a defeat. The hosts, at home, against North Macedonia, while the visitors were away at Wales. Not the best of starts.

There is obviously little chance that either of them will go to next year’s World Cup. In the group, in fact, there is also Belgium which, barring some sensational twists, should be able to take first place and qualify directly for the World Cup. While the other two will be playing for second place, which at least gives them a chance to play in the playoffs. In short, Liechtenstein and Kazakhstan are the two worst teams in group J. But we all know there’s a big difference between them.

After four years of defeats, many of them, and draws (few), the hosts managed to win a friendly against Hong Kong in 2024. And only with teams of this level can you hope to get a result. Kazakhstan, on the other hand, does manage to get the occasional victory. Let’s not talk about who knows what, let’s make things clear right away, but it’s clear that from a technical point of view they have some greater quality. And that’s why we’re convinced that the guests, at least in this qualifying group, can manage to win a few games. At least two: in this double confrontation, of course.

Odds comparison

Kazakhstan’s victory is quoted at 1.37 on Goldbet, Lottomatica and 1.37 on Snai.

The prediction

Obviously, and it’s clear, we don’t expect an exciting match. The overall technical level is so low that it seems difficult for this match to end with many goals. And it seems equally difficult for the visiting team not to win. Yes, that’s right. The 2 is right, and how right it is.
