Frosinone of exes dreams of a feat
In the past month, however, Frosinone’s only joy has been the feat in Naples in the Coppa Italia, while in the league four consecutive defeats have come.
Last Saturday Soulé and his teammates were also beaten by Monza (2-3), cashing another knockout in front of their own public, the second consecutive one after the one with Juventus on Dec. 23 (1-2). Against the Bianconeri, Frosinone managed to equalize Yildiz’s goal with a goal by Baez but with only a few minutes to go could do little in front of Vlahovic’s winning header. The Serbian striker also took center stage last Sunday in Salerno by taking Allegri’s chestnuts out of the fire (1-2), with the Signora suffering more than expected in the second challenge in the space of a few days against Pippo Inzaghi’s granata, bent only in full recovery. Without the injured Chiesa, the Livorno coach is expected to field Yildiz from 1′, this time alongside Milik. In midfield Rabiot will most likely decline, with Nicolussi Caviglia ready to take his place. In Frosinone chances for Brescianini and Ibrahimovic.
The Prediction
Two Bianconeri wins and one draw in the previous fixtures at the Stadium between Juventus and Frosinone, who have never faced each other before in the Coppa Italia. Massimiliano Allegri, while fielding several second-liners, is unlikely to miss the chance to land in the semifinals but will have to watch out for Di Francesco’s team, which is capable of challenging opponents who are superior on paper with its proactive play. Juve favored but in all likelihood the Ciociari will manage to score at least one goal.
