The draw against Almeria halted Girona’s run in this La Liga a little bit: but Mitchell’s team is still first in the standings, with one match more obviously than Real Madrid, which therefore could go away. The Andalusians do not understand how, every season, they manage to complicate their lives in such a major way. Yet the roster is thick – certainly better equipped than Girona’s – however, something is wrong. More than something. And since the top team has proven on more than one occasion that it is a tough nut to crack at home, then we definitely see the home side as the favorite.

It could definitely be a locked game, given the stakes. So little spectacle and a lot of agonism. And Girona obviously starts as favorites. And it should be able to take the three points.
