Will Bundesliga predictions be as open as last year’s this season? Bayern Munich won their 11th German championship in a row last May, after beating Borussia Dortmund to the title on the final day. However, Edin Terzic’s men were dealt a fatal blow when they were held to a draw by Mainz. The latter, less sovereign than usual, took advantage of their late win in Cologne to continue their domestic domination. These two teams are once again vying for the title, with the possibility of another surprise guest. This could be RB Leipzig, who finished 3rd on the podium last year after another tricky start to the season, and who have just won the German SuperCup against Bayern after doing the double in the German Cup last May. Behind them, Bayer Leverkusen would also like to play spoilsport. Union Berlin (in a surprise 4th place) and Freiburg, who seem to have fallen back into line, are likely to find the going a little tougher. The same goes for Eintracht Frankfurt, who have lost a number of players, including Kolo Muani to Paris, but are starting to find their feet again. In any case, these Bundesliga predictions for 2023-2024 are still exciting to follow this season, with Bayer Leverkusen leading the way ahead of Bayern, and Dortmund and RB Leipzig confirming that they are unlikely to be title contenders.
