Leipzig’s Champions League adventure has started on the right foot. On Tuesday, Marco Rose’s men confirmed their excellent form by winning 3-1 at Young Boys, thus heading them into the knockout phase.

They (and not only them) are the new ‘gold’ of the Roten Bullen, always competitive despite the abundant disposals in the summer. Leipzig are also doing well in the league: after losing in the opener to Leverkusen, they have racked up three wins in a row (Stuttgart, Union Berlin and Augsburg), never scoring less than three goals.
Gladbach’s defence is treading water
A run that could continue at home to Borussia Monchengladbach – Rose’s former team – who are still winless and have only picked up two points.
