When Melissa had shared with followers the tender shots of their love weekend in Switzerland, the detractors had not been long in coming. They had seized the ball and poked the tennis player, pointing out that while Sinner was dueling with the big boys on the circuit he was thinking about skiing in sweet company. That is why the footage in question, then, suddenly took on the contours of a vitriolic response. Rather than words, Matteo preferred to respond with deeds.
In the images he is seen training on an indoor court together with what would appear to be Umberto Rianna, the over-18 technical manager for Federtennis. One of the most qualified coaches in the world, so to speak, who has always closely followed the Azzurri star players and, consequently, Berrettini and Sinner themselves. Someone on social media started to “dream” and speculated that he might be the “chosen one,” but it is highly unlikely, not to say impossible, since he has a broader role. That he is leading it, then, in this transitional phase, waiting for him to identify an heir to Santopadre?
