Bayern Munich-Borussia Monchengladbach, Bundesliga: line-ups,

by Sabrina

Bayern Munich-Borussia Monchengladbach is a Bundesliga match of the fourth day and is played on Saturday at 18:30: formations, predictions, TV and streaming.

Nothing new under the Bavarian sun. After the first three days of the Bundesliga, the only ones still with full points are – coincidentally – reigning champions Bayern Munich, once again the team to beat in these latitudes. Julian Nagelsmann’s men did not appear at all satiated or satisfied despite winning the championship for ten years in a row. And, despite the painful farewell to Robert Lewandowski – the Polish scorer moved to Barcelona in the summer – they confirmed themselves as a real goal machine. Not only have they beaten Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg and Bochum with ease, but they have done so by scoring a total of fifteen goals, compared to just one conceded. And the number rises if we also consider the German Super Cup match, in which Muller and his team-mates won with a resounding 5-2 victory over Leipzig.

Will they again leave only crumbs to their opponents? That is the feeling, especially after the restyling that seems to have given the young coach more options. Indeed, the impact of former Liverpool player Sadio Mané, author of four goals in as many games, is sensational.

Bayern as usual devastating from the midfield up. But, at least so far, it is also making significant strides in the non-possession phase: the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt, bought in the summer from Juventus, represents a significant upgrade for the defence, pending more probing tests of course. It could be the one with Borussia Monchengladbach, one of the teams that have surprised in a positive way in these first three rounds. The new course, entrusted to former Norwich coach Daniel Farke, started with two victories (Hoffenheim and Hertha) and a draw (Schalke 04).

How to watch Bayern Munich-Borussia Monchengladbach live TV and streaming

Bayern Munich-Borussia Monchengladbach is scheduled for Saturday at 18:30. It can be seen on live TV exclusively for Sky subscribers on Sky Sport Uno (channel 201). The same broadcast will also be available in streaming via Sky Go, the mobile service available to subscribers, and on NOW, the live and on-demand platform.

The Prediction

Borussia Monchengladbach are in great form: Neuhaus and his team-mates look like the distant relatives of last season and the results show it too. But to conquer the Allianz Arena – last year they were one of only two teams to do so – will essentially require a half miracle. The guests rely on cabala: in the last 11 years they have won the most points against the Bavarians (31 out of 66 available). Bayern are likely to find it a little more difficult, but they remain firm favourites for the three points in a match with at least three goals in total.
