After a difficult debut against France, which ended in defeat, England are back on track for the final of this European Championship. The defending champions face a tough Sweden side, who finished top of their group after beating Germany, but despite the match not being a walk in the park, they are definitely the favorites going into the game.
Not only because they obviously have to defend the title they won against Spain in the final at Wembley, but also because they have strong players in their squad who are used to playing at this level (some of them even won the Champions League last season).
However, we were talking about a complicated match against Sweden, who are in really good shape physically. And also mentally, at this stage. The victory against Germany has given them incredible confidence in their own abilities, given that we are talking about one of the teams tipped to win the tournament – at least on the eve of the tournament – and since there are some strong players in the squad, the Swedes should at least score one goal in the match. But at the moment, we cannot think about a possible victory.

The prediction
England will go through to the semi-finals, where we hope they will face Italy. The reigning champions have everything it takes to go all the way, and there is a feeling that, if they get through this round, they can already start thinking about the final. In short, it’s all set up for a match with at least one goal per team and at least three goals in total, of course.
