JUVENTUS saw something of Juventus against Bologna. But it wasn’t enough, obviously, neither for Allegri nor for the Bianconeri fans. Who cannot imagine going out of the Champions League group stage. And to try and get back on track, and above all make sense of the next group matches, the Piedmontese team must beat Maccabi Haifa at all costs, who clearly have no chance of going ahead in this group. For the occasion, and in spite of what was seen against Bologna last Sunday, Allegri should return to three at the back with Bremer, Bonucci and Danilo making up the defensive package. Up front there is little doubt that alongside Vlahovic will be Di Maria with Milik initially on the bench. And Paredes, who sat next to the coach in the league before coming on in the second half, will also return from the first minute. Those should be Allegri’s choices for a Juve side who have just one result to try and get back on track. Otherwise goodbye.

Juventus obliged to win and Juventus most likely to win. Maybe even in a match of at least three goals in total. The first objective is to not concede a goal against a Maccabi Haifa team that has little technical quality but will certainly face the challenge with personality. Then, up front, the task of scoring will fall to Vlahovic who, with Di Maria on his side, could have an easier time.
