Serie C, round C: The fifth round of the Italian third division is played. Predictions for the matches scheduled for 24 September
There aren’t the famous teams of the past years, but round C of the Italian third tier is definitely the one with the most excitement. There are some teams, this year, that are really built to kill the championship, and one of these is Lerda’s Crotone, which has started by giving decidedly bellicose signals: four matches, as many victories. Watch out, however, for the other Calabrian team built to stay on top: Vivarini’s Catanzaro is chasing after a draw in the last round and after having won three in a row, scoring fourteen goals. Obviously the Giallorossi’s attack is the best at the moment and could remain so until the end.
Messina’s season has not started well, however: only one point for the Giallorossi of the Straits, who must try to climb the slope again. Eight goals conceded in four games is a lot, but there are those who have done worse like Latina and Taranto who have conceded ten. Improving the defensive phase is the minimum goal.

Vivarini at Catanzaro
Catanzaro’s victory at home against Messina: no doubt about the final result of this challenge on Calabrian soil. Nor should Crotone have any problems on the pitch against Potenza: too clear a gap on the pitch in favour of Lerda’s team. The match between Foggia and Pescara is expected to be a one-goal affair, as well as Latina-Avellino, with the guests also likely to try to score. Monopoli should score at home against Cerignola while Juve Stabia-Viterbese could give at least three goals in total.
