Betting, the plus mode advantage for scorers, shoot-outs and cautions: everything a bettor can’t ignore.
The sports betting landscape is constantly evolving, and sports betting enthusiasts are always on the hunt for new ways to make their bets more exciting and, if possible, more profitable.
Those who think of sports betting as a way to make easy money get the concept wrong. First and foremost, the basis of everything must be fun, adrenaline, and the desire to put one’s skills on the line as well, within one’s economic budget.
Then of course with the many tools now available to bettors, the possibilities of making money and taking the occasional whim off have undoubtedly increased, just as the spectrum of possible bets is more colorful.
For example, lovers of bets on goal scorers, cautioned players, total shots and shots on goal have for some time now had new bets at their disposal that at least allow them to drag their bets all the way to 90′ if not to extra time, when planned.
What the plus modes consist of: no small advantage
In total shots, all shots towards the goal (including headers) are counted, while a shot on goal is a winner only when there is a save by the opponent’s goalkeeper or a save by a defender near the goal line, and posts or crossbars do not count.
On some bookmakers, however, there are special modes (PLUS, DUO, TANDEM, and so on) in which goals and crossbars are also counted as shots on goal as well as shots scored by any substitute of the player being predicted. A compelling type that allows the bet to stay on course until the end of the match, including any extra time.
A type of bet that is undoubtedly convenient, because it saves the bettor from contingencies that are always around the corner. For example, if one decides to bet on the goal scored by Manchester United’s central striker, the bet immediately becomes a loser if he leaves due to injury after a few minutes. With the plus mode, duo or tandem, on the other hand, the goal of the eventual substitute also counts, which is no small advantage because the odds offered by the bookmakers are yes lower, but not by that much.
Even with cautions it is a convenient mode: if you choose a fullback in marking an outside attacker skilled in dribbling, but he is replaced by technical choice at the end of the first half, you will have a chance to win even with his substitute.
