Who will have the honor and burden of trying to take the continental champion scepter out of Argentina’s hands? Bielsa will have to give up two starters in the challenge with Colombia, and they are two absences that can make the difference: Ronald Araujo – the Barcelona defender is injured – and former Cagliari man Nandez, disqualified.
The prediction
Two ties in the last two previous matches, including a 2-2 draw last November in World Cup qualifying. Uruguay and Colombia had also faced each other in the knockout stage of the last Copa America and it was the Cafeteros who prevailed after penalty kicks.
