Unmatched Djokovic, the summit is his: two number 1 penthouses for Nole

by Michael

Djokovic, only the best for the world No. 1: Even when it comes to real estate, he wants to be at the top.

Marbella, Monte Carlo, Belgrade. Novak Djokovic owns several properties and has a secure base in each of his heartland places. In his hometown, where he often and willingly goes to enjoy the company of his parents; in Spain, where he takes refuge in the little free time he can spend with his wife and children. And, finally, to the Principality of Monaco, where he trains like many other colleagues on the major circuit.

Not everyone knows, however, that the world number 1 also owns a luxury residence in New York, where he stays, of course, when, in late summer, the tennis caravan moves to the Big Apple for the third Slam of the year. That is where he goes, along with the rest of his crew, to coincide with the Us Open, the tournament he has won four times but of which, this much is certain, he is not yet satiated.

In fact, as a matter of fact, he owns 2 houses in the city that never sleeps, not just 1. These are two adjacent but not connected penthouses in the same luxury complex. We are talking about 565 Broome SoHo, the majestic and very elegant building designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, which towers in all its glory in the magnificent New York skyline.

Djokovic’s penthouse in New York will leave you breathless

The total area of the two apartments amounts to 2 thousand square meters, but Nole has not yet knocked down the wall separating them. A sign that he evidently wants the boundary between the two penthouses to remain.

The two residences have, in any case, very similar architectural features. They both feature heated white oak floors and Basaltina lava stone countertops. The furniture is all strictly custom-made, Parisian-style, and the large, full-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows provide stunning views of the Big Apple skyline. Two finely finished jewels that, that’s for sure, are more than fit for a champion of his caliber.

Complementing the building are various common areas, a condominium pool, and several terraces from which to enjoy the unparalleled view. All this, as can be easily guessed, came at a fairly high cost. Nole purchased the two penthouses while the complex was still under construction and spent $11 million to secure these two ultra-luxury penthouses in New York. Nothing he could not afford, of course, having won the impossible and having earned, as a result, a sea of money.
