Sinner’s lair is under siege: they cannot wait

by Michael

Sinner, it didn’t take long for his supporters to find out: every night, punctually, they wait for him right there.

In Indian Wells there was Daddy Hanspeter to feed the troops and ensure that everyone, indiscriminately, got their fair share of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. But Sinner senior was homesick for home and for Siglinde, probably, reasoning that the Sunshine Double, for him, ended in the California desert. Filed the Tennis Garden paperwork, he returned to the mountains, to his beautiful Trentino.

At that point, Jannik and the rest of his wonderful crew were left with nothing to do but make do. It seems Darren Cahill is not doing too well, yet, with Italian cuisine, especially pasta. And although his pupil from Alto Adige likes to be at the stove instead, he certainly hasn’t had much time to cook for everyone since he landed in Florida in hopes of winning the second Masters 1000 of his career. Fortunately, in charming Miami, Sinner’s team has found a place that more or less adequately compensates for Chef Hanspeter’s absence.

According to reports in the Gazzetta dello Sport, Jannik and his people would now have a regular stop. Every night, regardless of whether the world number 3 has played or not, they all always gather at the same place. Their home away from home.

Sinner and that home away from home: they all gather there

And the place in question, their new headquarters, is actually called Casa Tua. It is located along James Ave, in the Brickell neighborhood, and is the perfect place for those looking for healthy but tasty food and an atmosphere that is, at the same time, relaxing.

Sinner fans are aware of the team’s routine, which is why the Italian restaurant in question has now become a veritable “cult” spot for the many Sinnerites gathered in Miami. They go there at any hour of the day hoping to run into their hero. Sometimes it happens, and it must be admitted that Jannik never denies them selfies and autographs. Nor smiles, for that matter: he has always been most kind, on the other hand, to those who admire him.

Then everyone to dinner, which the meal of champions does not wait. But no desserts, no coffee. Breaks from the rule only when winning. Luckily that happens a lot…
