They have not responded in any way to the rumors circulating about them in recent hours. They have neither denied nor confirmed, reasoning that it is clear that those who spread the rumor of their breakup have a point. They were so close, so complicit, that we expected anything less than that their romance could come to an end after just a year.

Some of the verses, in fact, would seem to fit the bill. Provided, of course, that there is an injured party between the two and that Matthew and Melissa are indeed suffering, as speculated, out of love. Will we ever get to the bottom of what happened to the couple of the year 2023?
