We don’t like this Sinner: video under indictment

by Thorsten

Sinner, this sudden change has not entirely convinced the social people: video under indictment.

He has a calmness that we wouldn’t hesitate to call seraphic. And he is unflappable, that he is. Nothing seems to be able to faze him, not even a particularly tough opponent who is giving him a hard time. And perhaps that, after all, is the secret of his success and rise.

Probably he would not have risen so high, Jannik Sinner, if he had been fuming and a little less patient than he is. Because in tennis, you know, talent and temperament travel hand in hand. If the athlete is not there mentally, then there is no point in pushing. He may serve at 220 km/h and drop bomb forehands, but he will never get away with it. Self-control and lucidity, especially in the climaxes, are absolutely essential. The native of San Candido has shown that he possesses them and, moreover, can master them to the best of his ability.

Of merits on which to dwell, in short, he has plenty. In the last few hours, however, Italy’s number 1 has come into the crosshairs for something that many social network users say is, in a way, questionable. Something that has set off the people of the web, especially those on the X platform, to the point that posts and memes published on the subject have literally proliferated within just a few hours.

Sinner changes life and even look: social gone wild

On Monday, one of Jannik’s sponsors launched a new commercial starring, precisely, the champion from Trentino Alto Adige. And so far there would be nothing wrong with that, except that the commercial itself is nothing short of hilarious and has, as such, triggered hilarity among the people on social media.

In this spot we see not the tennis player Sinner we have become accustomed to. Rather, we see him in a wide variety of guises: he’s a rock star, he’s a bricklayer, he’s a businessman, he’s an astronaut and even, hear hear, a father. There is no stork on the way: the advertisement is, in essence, about the issues of the future and the challenges we face daily to grow and evolve.

The image of the tennis player with a baby Jannik in his fanny pack, however, combined with that of Sinner dressed up as Damiano from Maneskin, dispensed quite a few laughs left and right. And then, as in a sort of chain reaction, the posts shared by X users also provided smiles and fat laughs galore. Below you will find some of the ones we found the funniest, but let’s be clear about one thing: we don’t like this Sinner that much anymore, because we prefer him without a shadow of a doubt in his regulation cap and with a racket in his fist.
