His collection is certainly bound to increase, as he is only 22 years old, but it is curious that he currently has in his pocket the exact same “amount” of trophies displayed in Vinci’s trophy case. And in that of Adriano Panatta, whose record he equaled just a few weeks ago.

But there is something else that would seem to bind, beyond that, Roberta and Jannik. A snapshot, circulated on social in recent hours, that would seem to testify to the existence of “something” between the two.
We are not referring to anything romantic, of course. We are talking about something even greater than love, namely esteem and respect. The South Tyrolean has great admiration for the former number 7 in the Wta ranking, and Vinci, likewise, is proud that Italy is so well represented by a champion of her caliber. She is so proud that in the past few hours she has made him a real indecent proposal.
The unforgettable champion, who retired in May 2018, posted on Instagram a selfie together with Jannik, probably taken at the SuperTennis Awards. “Mixed doubles in Australia?” she then wrote with the editor inside the photo, alluding to her desire to play mixed doubles paired with the tennis player of the moment. And how many, like her, including fiancée Maria Braccini, would do anything to see them share the court?
