Eliteserien, Bodo take the field this afternoon with the aim of further consolidating their lead: predictions.
After two missteps, Bodo/Glimt, the undisputed leaders of the Eliteserien, Norway’s top league, have started to rack up points again. It did so against Odd in the last round (0-2), once again keeping its goal unbeaten, and repeated itself in the national cup against HamKam, beaten with the same result last Thursday.
On the final day of the first half of the season, Knudsen’s yellow-and-whites will be aiming to consolidate their lead over second-placed Tromso (+8) in a clash with Haugesund, who are fighting to avoid relegation and have just lost two away games in a row. Bodo’s victory, in short, should not be in question. Saltnes and his teammates are also likely to score a large number of goals in a match that promises to be one-sided or almost one-sided. Lillestrom, fresh from a fine comeback victory at home to Rosenborg, is also in the hunt for three points. Sandefjord, who suffered a heavy defeat at Sarpsborg in their last away match, will be unable to resist.
Eliteserien, predictions for other matches
Tromso second in the standings visit a Rosenborg increasingly in crisis: the Bianconeri have lost in their last three matches, barely scoring a single goal between Sarpsborg, Aalesund and Lillestrom.

Following their goal-scoring spree against Sandefjord, Sarpsborg suddenly pulled the handbrake: a 5-2 league defeat against Stromsgodset and Stefan Billborn’s men also conceded three goals in the domestic cup against Molde this week. An eventful and potentially prolific match against HamKam therefore looms. Fourth strength of the Eliteserien, Viking are one of the most in-form teams in the tournament – they are fresh from four wins in a row – and should get a positive result at home to Stabaek. Brann vs. Stromsgodset round off the fourteenth round: The hosts are slight favourites but unpredictable, and the visitors are likely to score at least one goal in a good moment.
