Holland-Croatia official line-ups: scorers’ predictions, cautions and shooters for tonight’s super match. The latest tips.
It’s back to business. After the qualifying matches for the upcoming European Championships, everything is set for the start of the Nations League semi-finals. The series of challenges will be opened by Holland-Croatia, a non-trivial match which will see two of the most talented teams on the international scene face each other at the ‘De Kuip’ in Rotterdam. There were several doubts on the eve of the match between the two coaches: here are the choices.
- HOLLAND (4-3-3): Bilow, Dumfries, Geertruida, Van Dijk, Oké, Wieffer, Koopmeiners, de Jong, Malen, Gakpo, Simons.
- CROATIA (4-3-2-1) Livakovic; Juranovic, Sutalo, Vida, Perisic, Brozovic, Modric, Kovacic, Pasalic, Ivanusec, Kramaric.
Holland-Croatia, the scorers’ prediction
It’s going to be a very open match from the first minutes. The Croatia seen at work in the last season’s appearances seemed much more sly than usual and sometimes left the ball of the game to their opponents. The Netherlands, when in confidence, has shown that it can put any opponent in difficulty, especially thanks to the quality of its players from the waist up. For example, a goal from the enfant prodige Gakpo, who has managed to attract so much attention in the last period to the tune of important tests, cannot be ruled out.
Probable cautions and marksmen for Holland-Croatia
The emotions should not be lacking, as well as the clashes of play in the middle of the pitch. In this respect, for example, watch out for Wieffer, who never pulls his foot back and could incur at least one yellow card. Brozovic’s possible caution should not be overlooked a priori either, as the Inter playmaker has struggled to find continuity of performance in recent outings this season. The option of Dumfries as a marksman tantalizes not a little: the Nerazzurri outfielder in the national team has much more freedom of manoeuvre and could therefore manage to hit the mirror at least once. The same is true for Pasalic and Koopmeiners, who like to jostle between the lines and act with lights off to carve out important space with which to shoot.
