In the Final Four the league position occupied at the end of the season becomes irrelevant but Cesena will be pushed towards the final of the Serie C playoffs by a nearly sold-out “Manuzzi”. Lecco will have to win by at least a goal to take the challenge to extra time and eventually to penalties – from this moment on, in fact, the position in the standings no longer counts – and for Luciano Foschi’s men it won’t be easy to win at home against a team that has only lost three games in front of its fans this year.

Away from home Lecco did the feat in the previous round against Pordenone, beaten 3-1, but in the championship the Blucelesti’s external performance on the whole has left something to be desired. Unbeaten since last February, Cesena should be able to avoid defeat and snatch a pass to the final, where they will face the winner between Pescara and Foggia. The Romagnoli, who already confirmed their superiority on Sunday, are likely to leave the initiative to Lecco and then hurt on the counter-attack. It is not to be excluded, however, that the guests score at least one goal as in the first leg.
