On Sunday, they also surrendered to Valencia (0-2), taking their fifth defeat in a row: a negative streak in which Sebastian Beccacece’s team has conceded a total of 12 goals while scoring just one. Carvalhal should return to rely on defender Aidoo, while the presence of former Roma player Carles Perez is not certain. At home in Elche, the Argentine coach cannot have available Alamo, Carmona and Palacios, all three struggling with muscle problems.
