Tottenham-Bournemouth, Premier League: odds, predictions.

by Mike

Tottenham-Bournemouth is a match valid for the 31st day of the Premier League and is played on Saturday at 4 pm: TV, predictions.

A draw at home to Everton and a very hard-fought victory in the direct clash with Brighton. These are Tottenham’s results since Antonio Conte no longer sits on the bench of the London club, who in agreement with the club opted for a consensual separation during the last national team break after yet another disappointing performance.

Leading Spurs now is his former deputy Cristian Stellini, assisted by Ryan Mason: they will remain there at least until the end of the season, with the goal – the only one left – of clinching a Champions League spot. Tottenham is not out of the game yet, although compared to direct competitors Newcastle and Manchester United, third and fourth in the standings respectively, they have played one more game and there are potentially six points to make up. The success with Brighton (2-1) was invaluable and allowed Kane and his teammates to extend their positive streak: Spurs have not lost a game in about a month and a half, although in the last 30 days they have finished outside the Champions League – failed comeback attempts in the round of 16 return match with AC Milan – and have picked up two draws with two teams within reach such as Southampton and Everton. Against the Seagulls, Tottenham’s performance was not flawless, and the heated, all-Italian squabble between Stellini and De Zerbi was definitely more newsworthy.

Bournemouth now believes

For the second Saturday in a row, Spurs will welcome a club from the English south coast, Bournemouth.

The Cherries are back to believing in salvation after their second win in the last three games, this time in a sort of relegation playoff with Leicester, beaten 1-0 at home thanks to a goal by Billing late in the first half. In the lower reaches of the standings, distances remain close and none can yet feel safe. But Gary O’Neil’s men, who until a few weeks ago seemed with one foot and a half in the Championship, now have a three-point lead over the third-last: salvation is distant but far from unattainable. The Rossoneri coach may again have to do without Senesi and Traoré, sending out the same lineup that beat the Foxes.

The Prediction

Another tricky match for Tottenham, against a team in confidence that has already put several big names in trouble. Bournemouth potential banana peel for Spurs in a match where we should see at least two goals overall
