Leading side Frosinone’s run was interrupted in the last round against Cagliari, a sign that the two-week break probably didn’t do the Ciociari much good. It was a painless draw in any case, considering that Reggina, the Lazio’s big chaser, were stopped by Benevento, but it could have been an opportunity to stretch their lead and move to +7 from the Calabrians. The one against Cagliari last week was the first half-step of Frosinone in front of their own public, where before Sunday’s challenge they had always collected successes, among other things without conceding a single goal.
On the other hand, the Ciociari limped a bit on the away side, having suffered three defeats, the only ones in their championship.
